The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the practical examination dates for Classes 10 and 12. Candidates preparing for these exams can find the official notification on CBSE's website at cbse.gov.in.
The practical exams are scheduled to commence on January 1 and continue until February 15, 2024, for both Class 10 and Class 12, across all CBSE-affiliated schools.
This means that these exams will span approximately 46 days in total.
A circular issued by the CBSE emphasizes the importance of coordinating examination dates with the board's schedule. It encourages all organizations conducting exams to take the CBSE exam timetable into consideration.
For schools situated in winter-bound regions, practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments for the 2023-24 session in both Class 10 and Class 12 will be held from November 14 to December 14, 2023.
In cases where more than 30 students are participating, the Board has instructed winter-bound schools to conduct exams in two or three sessions per day. This arrangement aims to ensure a fair and accurate assessment process.
Looking ahead, the annual CBSE board examinations for the academic year 2023-24 for Classes X and XII will commence on February 15, 2024, and are slated to conclude by April 10, 2024.
The CBSE board examinations for the 2023-24 academic year for both Class 10 and Class 12 will span approximately 55 days, according to the notice released on July 12, 2023. This schedule provides ample time for students to prepare and perform to the best of their abilities in these crucial examinations.
