All national Portugal secondary school exams with a positive average, with the exception of Biology and Geology

In the first phase, all national secondary school exams recorded an average of over 10 points, with the exception of Biology and Geology, whose average was 9.9 points, according to the results released this Monday by the Ministry of Education.
“There were 291,793 registrations registered in the 1st phase of the national final exams, with 236,060 tests carried out, which corresponds to around 80.9% of the registrations”, revealed Fernando Alexandre’s office, in a statement. Of the 25 Secondary Education subjects subject to national exam, all registered a positive average, that is, above 10 points (equivalent to 100 points), “ with the exception of the national final exam in Biology and Geology (702), whose average was 99 points”.
As in the previous year, this was the subject for which the largest number of students took the exam (with 37,730 tests), followed by Portuguese (34,935 tests), Physics and Chemistry A (33,570 tests) and Mathematics A (32,105 tests).
The Ministry of Education also highlights that Drawing A (14.4 points), English (14.1 points), Economics A (12.7 points), History A (12.4 points) and Mathematics A (12.1 points) were the subjects that recorded the highest averages, taking into account the exams that were taken by more than 2,500 students.
