The education administration has signed an agreement with Infomentor and Tietoevry on system support. In the fall of 2024, the city of Stockholm's upper secondary schools will start using the digital supports. It also means that the schools will no longer use certain systems in the school platform, as the agreements for these expire.
The upper secondary schools will use Infomentor for, among other things, course planning, absence and attendance management and communication with guardians. Tietoevery's digital support will be used, among other things, for reporting grades and exam results.
- Now we have agreements in place for the preschool, primary school and upper secondary school and are starting to approach the end of the work with procurements, says Patrik Kärkkäinen, IT and digitization manager at the education administration. The next step for us will be to focus on how the new digital aids can make the best use of everyday life for our users.

Background
Some of the agreements for digital support in the school platform are expiring and therefore the City of Stockholm is making new procurements.
The plan is for all new digital support to start being used in 2024.
The decision on procurement was made by the education board in February 2022 and procurement began the same year.
