Manish Sisodia has announced that the schools in the capital Delhi will not reopen until further order in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Lockdown will strictly continue till November 20 in containment zones.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has recently made a statement that the schools in the capital will remain closed till any further orders are issued in this regard. This step is being taken in view of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Sisodia also talked about how schools can become a prime spot for the spread of Covid-19 among students. He said, “Wherever the schools are reopening in the entire world, the fear of children getting infected is a lot.”
“A lot of guardians and teachers have reached out to me and suggested to me that the reopening of schools in Delhi in the current situation can problematic. So, the schools in Delhi will not reopen as of now,” he said.
While talking about the reopening of schools in Delhi, Manish Sisodia said that many stakeholders have been hesitant about the resumption of regular classes amid the current pandemic situation as it might put the students at risk.
