The Ministry of Education together with Demre announced the extension of the registration period for the Higher Education Access Tests (PAES).
In this way, those who still want to carry out the process to take the test on December 2, 3 and 4 , will be able to register on the portal provided for that purpose.
Until when is the deadline?
In a statement, the entities announced that all those who wish to participate in the registration process may do so until Wednesday, July 31 at 1:00 p.m.
How to apply?
To register, please visit the portal inscripcion.demre.cl , which will be available for two more days.
In addition, they must have their Chilean Identity Card, Passport or Provisional School Identifier (IPE) and follow the instructions requested by the platform.
In the case of students in their fourth year of high school, they must register for at least one elective test: the PAES of Science and/or PAES of History and Social Sciences, since the Reading Competence and Mathematical Competence 1 (M1) tests are mandatory.
Those who have already graduated from high school will be able to register for between one and five tests.
Registration cost
Students from municipal schools, Public Local Education Services (SLEP), subsidized private schools and delegated administration schools are beneficiaries of the PAES Scholarship, which means they are exempt from payment.
For other applicants, the fees vary depending on the number of tests they wish to take.
