Over 82,000 students had to take their entrance exams in an open-air stadium due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the tests will be announced on Monday, September 21.
The entrance exams to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the largest in Latin America, were held this Wednesday for the first time at the Olympic University Stadium with hygiene measures and distancing by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus
pandemic.
In the exams to study a degree, which will end tomorrow, 82,539 applicants were registered, distributed in 25 UNAM headquarters in the Mexican capital and the neighboring state of Mexico, including the university stadium on the central campus of the
university.
From Tuesday, August 25 to Saturday, August 29, the exams will be held at the headquarters of Mérida (Yucatán), Morelia (Michoacán) and León (Guanajuato), and on Sunday, August 30, 113 people with disabilities will do them,
so that the total applicants to study a degree at the UNAM amount to 84,947.
