Betty Huff has over 30 years of experience in enrollment management, including positions as Registrar, Director of Admissions, Director of Financial Aid, and AVP/VP Enrollment Services/Management executive level roles at both large and medium size
public institutions. She has served in leadership roles in three student information systems implementations as well as a member of the selection team for a major state system SIS purchase. Ms. Huff’s career includes positions at both
urban and residential institutions. In 1990 she was selected as a member of the founding team for a new California State University system campus at San Marcos, CA where she developed an enrollment services concept and defined an enrollment management
plan for the developing campus. In addition to creating enrollment management campus-wide structures at the University of California, Santa Barbara and the University of Memphis, she has significant experience in recruitment strategies for
highly competitive and less competitive institutions, comprehensive admissions review, student information systems management, and financial aid leveraging.
At the national and international level, Ms. Huff has been actively engaged in the issues of access, equity, and higher education public policy and practice. She completed terms on the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions
Officers (AACRAO) as Vice President for Management and Leadership Development and as President of the Board of Directors. Her international experience includes selection as a German Fulbright Administrative Scholar for Admissions and
Student Services, and served as a representative for the CSU system in Japan and China reviewing campus educational partnership programs. She has presented at national and international meetings on higher education issues in the United
States on topics such as organizational development, comprehensive admissions evaluation, outcomes based funding, enrollment management structures, and student support services
Ms. Huff holds a B.A. degree in English from the University of South Alabama and an M.A. in Adult Education from the University of Georgia, where she also completed doctoral level coursework in public and higher education administration.
