Are you an innovator and leader in your field? Don’t keep your knowledge and experiences to yourself! We have an enthusiastic community of higher education professionals waiting to learn from you!

Save the Date
The conference is scheduled for July 8-10, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Submit a session proposal and share how technology and/or transfer practices integrate into campus operations and support the academic policies and objectives of higher education institutions.

Selection Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated on clarity, quality, and representation among thematic areas. We are committed to a broad array of programming relevant to all institutional types. Proposals from community colleges, private institutions, system offices, and groups consisting of representatives from multiple institutional types are especially encouraged. Presenters may register for the conference at a discounted rate.

DEADLINE: Submission Deadline is February 28, 2018. Submit Your Session Proposal

Innovation Hub
You are encouraged to submit sessions for the AACRAO Innovation Hub, which identifies and highlights emerging technologies and pioneering solutions that can help institutions improve services and facilitate student success. Selected sessions that fall into the following interest areas will be featured in the Innovation Hub track at the meeting.

Blockchain provides a way for institutions to potentially share a wide range of documents—including student transcripts or certificates—in a secure, verifiable network. Have you attempted to implement this new technology?

Data Visualization
Institutions struggle to organize their data and present it in ways that are understandable to policy makers, academic leadership, and students. How have you improved the presentation and visualization of your data?

Data Integration
Campuses have found themselves needing to add applications and programs to meet specific goals that are not adequately served by their SIS. What have you done to address this issue?

Chabots and virtual agents engage students in spaces where they may be more familiar and comfortable. Have you explored the use of chatbots to better communicate with students?

Sessions submitted through the regular proposal form will be reviewed for appropriate content and may be reclassified as a corporate presentation, which dictates a presentation fee.
