Registrar 101 Online

When? January 28-February 23, 2009

What? An interactive, online course for members of the profession who have been in registrar or registrar-related positions for less than two years. Using the power of the Internet to connect colleagues from throughout the profession, the course deals with such fundamental issues as: the role of the registrar; information resources for registrars; the registrar's impact on academic regulations; as well as being in compliance with FERPA and the Solomon Amendment. During the four weeks the course is in session participants compare notes with each other and create a helpful network of registrars at other institutions.

  • To create a network of professionals for future contacts; and
