2 Day Intensive: International Transfer Credit Workshop

July 7-8, 2017

This two-day crash course is designed for individuals who work with international educational records, in admissions or study-abroad, for the possibility of transfer credit from international institutions. This workshop will focus on the determination and calculation of acceptable and applicable transfer credit from study taken outside the U.S. Participants will apply best industry practices to transfer credit from international undergraduate, graduate and short term/ exchange programs from selected top-sending countries through hands-on evaluation of authentic international records and credentials.

AACRAO institute trainings offer hands-on practical experience grounded in best-practice theory in a collaborative and engaging environment.  Attendees gain skills and knowledge that they can apply to their work immediately and access to a resource network that will be invaluable to their development.

Conference Rate:
The special conference rate is $149 plus tax per single/double. Complimentary In-Room Internet access is included for those booking within the AACRAO Rooming Block.

There is a limited block of rooms and availability cannot be guaranteed. Early reservations are recommended. 

Deadline for Cancellations: 
For a full refund, reservations must be canceled three working days prior to your arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. if a cancellation occurs after this deadline, a processing fee of one nights' room and tax will be imposed on each reservation cancelled. 

Early Departure Fee: 
In the event a guest checks out prior to the reserved check-out date, the hotel will charge an early check-out fee. To avoid the fee, advise the hotel at or before check-in of any change in departure date.

Meet Our Presenters​

Annetta Stroud is the Associate Director of Training and Program Development at AACRAO and has been working in the field of international education for over 15 years. She has worked in both public and private institutions in various positions in international admissions, student services and academic management. Her current role with AACRAO allows her to engage in the research of international comparative education and support the training of professionals in the field through AACRAO International initiatives. Annetta holds a B.A. in Music from the University of New Mexico, M.A. in Adult Education from San Francisco State University, and an Ed.M. in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne.

LesLee Clauson Eicher is an Assistant Director at AACRAO International and has been working in the field of international credential evaluation for over 25 years. She has worked for both private and public universities as well as credential evaluation agencies. LesLee has contributed to various AACRAO and NAFSA international education publications, and has presented at many national and regional conferences on international education topics.
